A festival to commemorate the life and work of Seán Ó Riada and to give recognition to other heroes will be held in Cúil Aodha over the August Bank holiday weekend. Féile na Laoch will celebrate cultural heroes, including storytellers, poets, actors, dancers, singers and musicians.
Events are also being organised for the first weekend of October.
