Cumann Dramaíochta Cill na Martra was estabilished in 1973 to promote Irish Drama in the parish. Luibíní and Agallaimh Bheirte are available to children and adults who compete in the Oireachtas and in other drama festivals. Distinctions have often been achieved in the Oireachtas and National Drama Festivals, such as first place in the Sketch Competition at the Oireachtas in Cork 2008 and a nomination for a short play at the National Drama Festival.
